Mount Beacon Hike

Meeting Time: 9:00 AM sharp at Harlem-125th Street for Metro-North  

Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to Beacon Station  

Driving? There’s parking available at the trailhead—please plan to arrive by 10:30 AM.

Mount Beacon offers one of the Hudson Valley’s most scenic hikes! Starting with a steep incline, this 4-mile round-trip trail rewards hikers with stunning panoramic views of the Hudson River, Catskill Mountains, and even the NYC skyline on clear days. We’ll also explore historic ruins along the way.

Getting There:

The trailhead is about 2 miles from Beacon Station. You can join me for a cab or shuttle ride, or warm up with a walk. If driving, there’s parking near the trailhead.
